We are very excited to tell you that the Rotary Eye Hospital is currently in Kaza – the capital of the Spiti Valley, holding THE EYE CHECK CAMP, from July 14th 2024.

We are privileged to have the Head Surgeon from the Palampur Rotary Eye Hospital visiting the valley for the first time with his team. They are investigating the possibility of having a permanent Eye Centre in the Spiti Projects Society Community Centre in Kaza, to serve the people of Lahaul and Spiti regions, This is the culmination of 2 years hard work from The Spiti Projects Charity team in London, and our wonderful supporters. We are now so close to offering eye tests and treatment to thousands of people in the rural community on a regular basis. We couldn’t be more thrilled.

This is a huge step towards our dream, We still are planning to offer people the option to receive ‘off the shelf’ specs to help those who, like many of us of a certain age are beginning to find the small print difficult to read!
